Ingredients

  • 1 cube butter
  • 7 cups rice krispies
  • 2 packages of mini marshmallows (10oz bags)
  • pinch of salt (if using unsalted butter)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Line a 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat
  • Add all but 1 cup of the marshmallows, reduce heat to stir marshmallows until completely melted
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla
  • Add the cereal and remaining cup of marshmallows and gently stir until combined
  • Pour into baking dish
  • Press GENTLY until completely spread out (the harder you pack, the harder they are to eat)

Allow to rice krispies to cool, approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. Cut and enjoy!
