Ingredients
- 1 cube butter
- 7 cups rice krispies
- 2 packages of mini marshmallows (10oz bags)
- pinch of salt (if using unsalted butter)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line a 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat
- Add all but 1 cup of the marshmallows, reduce heat to stir marshmallows until completely melted
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla
- Add the cereal and remaining cup of marshmallows and gently stir until combined
- Pour into baking dish
- Press GENTLY until completely spread out (the harder you pack, the harder they are to eat)
Allow to rice krispies to cool, approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. Cut and enjoy!
