Mix butter, white & brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, baking powder, and salt. Mix in flour. Mix in chocolate chips & pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-18 minutes (or until edges are golden). Store in an airtight container for a week, or 6 months in the freezer.
